We've had an un-precedented heatwave for the last few days. Staying close home, and we are so fortunate to have air conditioning, but we did go down to the Beach at Qualicum one evening to check out the sunset.
Sundays outdoor temperature was 36.6c. Monday was our peak in Parksville at 38c
The heat dome is now moving on to Alberta and the prairies, but the knock on-effect is with us...forest fires are springing up, and the snow on the mountains has been melting exponentially, causing flooding in some areas, The chaotic pattern of weather and climate.

And Juni captured a very odd cloud formation one morning, that I have never seen before.
38! Here in southern Catalonia it's been creeping up to the mid-30s in the daytime and we haven't had it quite that high yet. We will! What a fabulous collection of photographs, Colin! Keep them coming! Swithin
