Mystery birds not around now

 I went out this morning at about the same time as yesterday.  No cheerful chirping or acrobatics. Weather cooler and grey clouds. Could  they have moved on already? I hardly got to know them! 

Later in the afternoon, the sun was out. I believe I saw one or two flying between the trees. I sat with my iPad camera for 5 minutes but there was no chance to catch one perched.

One hummingbird flew between the willow, (their favourite safe perching tree) and over our house.
